Schulte mohair has been used for making Steiff bears since the early 1900's and remains to this day the most popular fabric used in bear making.

All fabric is approximately 147cms wide.
Half Metre Pieces (0.5m = approx 50cm x 147cm)
Quarter metre pieces are sold as fat quarters (0.25m = approx 50cm x 73cm)
Eighth of a metre pieces are sold as fat eighths (0.125m = approx 50cm x 36cm)
